2012 GAME: REBOUND RUMBLE
Rebound Rumble(TM) is played by two competing Alliances on a flat 27 x 54 foot field. Each Alliance consists of three robots. They compete to score as many basketballs into their hoops as they can during a 2 minute and 15 second match. The higher the hoop in which the basketball is scored, the more points the
Alliance receives. The match ends with robots attempting to balance on bridges located at the middle of the field. In Qualification Matches, a robot from each Alliance will also try to balance on the white Coopertition(TM) bridge to score additional ranking for each Alliance.

Frank was the name given to the robot because we were going to name it the Hammoncannon but people were not so happy with that name, so it can be known as either. The name Hammoncannon was given in honor of our mentor Bruce Hannon. This past year, the game was Rebound Rumble in which the robot had to successfully shoot foam basketballs to score points, along with being able to balance on a bridge. We had went to both the San Diego and Las Vegas Regional. At the San Diego competition, we had placed 47th out of 56 teams while at the Las Vegas game, we placed 18th out of 42 teams. Throughout the year, we were able to make the robot better in order to place better.
